WNA Intensive Measures to Meet Customers Needs in Ramadan |

In the framework of its plans to provide water supplies to all customers all over the State, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" represented in Water Networks Affairs anticipated Ramadan by taking the required 24/7 emergency measures.
Now, water is supplied 24/7 during the holy month through 22 fully equipped pumping stations State wide. In the last years water was alternately pumped to different areas from time to time.
WNA Director, Eng. Ali Saif Al-Malki stressed the directorate commitment, through water emergency centers, to provide ample tankers ready to supply water to customers during emergency in a short time.
"For the interest of all customers, WNA has taken the necessary preparations to respond to customer complaints related to water interruption and shortage. Regular maintenance teams work 24/7 to meet customers need. Besides, water emergency call center receives complaints 24/7" he added.
With regard to the increasing number of mosques goers during the holy month, Eng. Al-Malki appeals to worshipers to save water during ablution to secure the availability of water to all users.
"All Tanker Filling Stations are ready to efficiently meet customers need during Ramadan without a bit deficit. Sailia, Umm Salal, Alkhor, AlWakra TFSs will work in two shifts. The morning shift starts at 06.00 am to 04.00 pm while the evening shift starts at 07.00 pm to mid night. On the other hand, Shahania, Shamal, Musaied, and AlMazrouaa TFSs work from 06.00 am to 04.00 pm while only Jumailia TFS works from 6 am to 11 am." He clarified.
Al-Malki stressed KAHRAMAA commitment to provide safe water supplies to all customers through the execution of the regular tests. All water networks are subject to the total control program which covers all State areas to secure the provision of high quality water supplies. KAHRAMAA employs a technically qualified team who operate the high tech equipment it avails itself of to save the sound health of its customers.
"KAHRAMAA Water Laboratory conducts random tests to tankers to check its commitment to hygienic and technical standards and its validity to transfer water." He reiterated.
Al-Malki asks all customers to call water emergency center on 991 in case of any shortage of water supplies. Customers should check the validity of their tanks and pumps and make sure that water supplies are sufficient for 48 hours.
At the end of his statement, WNA Director stated that KAHRAMAA extends its best greetings to all customers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. It hopes all customers save water against misuse and urge them to keep consumption down as much as possible.
