| Meeting Customer Needs at Installation and Meter Monitoring Sections |

Both Installation and Meter Monitoring Sections at Customer Services Department are responsible for the execution of many vital works to efficiently meet the needs of all customers.
Installation Section Work: The Section receives applications of electricity and water connections for the new buildings and issues permits for the electrical contractors during official working hours. It supplies electricity and water to the new buildings as well as suspends service for the evacuated ones.
In addition, the Section is responsible for reviewing current reinforcement applications and the applications of electricity and water connections before the issuance of the building permit form Urban Planning and Development Authority (DC1).
Some of Section engineers and technicians work at building permit complex. They do their best to review connection applications in order to provide high quality electricity and water supplies to all customers.
Installation Section Work: As for Meter Monitoring Section, it is responsible for recording readings to release monthly bills for customers. It issues monthly statements for defaulters.
The Section is also responsible for suspending service for the evacuated buildings for customers to pay the final statement and recover the insurance.
Some of Section employees work as judicial officers. They carry out their tasks in cooperation with the Installation Section.
Section inspectors cover all State areas, while readers record meter readings for all customers at the beginning and in the mid of every month.
By the second half of the month, the Section issues statements of the unreached meters and gives codes for the broken ones to be transferred to the related unit for maintenance.
