Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation "Kahramaa" has initiated a new project to install five thousands electricity and water plates for customer, based upon updated design and new specifications within the frame work of "Kahramaa" plan aiming at developing and updating its services, also distinguishing such services away from those rendered by other services departments in Qatar.
The new plates are characterized from those previously used by “Kahramaa” as "Kahramaa logo and is fixed on the Customer's two electricity and water plates. Electricity plate number is in red whereas water plate number is in blue. This will facilitate Customers to identify numbers of their service and for Kahramaa concerned staff as well.
The first phase of the project has commenced by installing new five thousands plates allocated for the new Customers at buildings recently constructed at different areas of the country.
There came the idea of making amendments to the service plates specifications and shape when manufactured by fixed materials and colours, not affected by sever climate conditions related to humidity and high temperature in order to secure along life for the customers new plates especially those installed outside the buildings. As such, they can be easily distinguished from those related to other services departments through out the country.
