Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation "“Kahramaa", held the 4th. Quarterly meeting of 2005, at the Sheraton – Hotel Al-Rayyan Hall  on Wednesday 26/1/2006, to discuss the progress of its strategic projects and evaluate the performance and achievements of directorates and departments during the last quarter of 2005.

The meeting chaired by H.E. Issa Shaheen Al-Ghanim the Vice Chairman, an intensive report presented the corporate strategic project and  performance evaluation procedure towards projects that improve the corporation’s business environment. Directors, Managers, Head of Section’s  and senior staff attended and contributed in the meeting.

The meeting came as part of "Kahramaa’s" continuous  practice to monitor the departmental administrative performance, and to ensure sustainable supplies of Electricity and Water as it has been declared in "Kahramaa's Mission and Objectives", and as per instructions of H.E. Mr. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman of Board of “Kahramaa” to consolidate performance.

It’s worth noting that "Kahramaa" had already taken this regular quarterly meeting to review the performance and achievements at departments level as part of its policy to review the strategic projects completion.

At the end of the meeting H.E. Issa Shaheen Al-Ghanim the Vice Chairman, said: " This quarterly  meeting came as part of Kahramaa series strategic quarterly meeting to revise KM plans and activities as part of its management capacity building in addition to review its strategic performance indicators during the last quarter of 2005 ".

He added that: " This meeting is a basic tool to disseminate Kahramaa achievements and progress and I am satisfied with the performance during the last quarter ".
