Qatar General Electricity and Water "Kahramaa" held its second quarterly meeting,  on Wednesday 26th , July , 2006, at the Diplomatic Club,  to review its departments performance beyond the second quarters' works for 2006.
The meeting was headed by Eng. Yousef Ahmed Al-Janahi , Manager of Corporate Planning and Business Development Department, and attended by  directors, managers, and a number of senior staff of "KAHRAMAA".

Several issues on the country’s power and water sectors were discussed at the second quarterly meeting of high level Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) officials evaluated the ongoing projects and developments of the corporation as well as their performance during the second quarter, issues relating promotion on customers services also discussed.

 The meeting held in accordance with the directives of HE Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Second Deputy Premier and Minister for Energy and Industry, within regular administrational meeting to reassure one team spirit through conducting such quarterly meetings specialized to observe current strategic projects and evaluate the corpora ional performance and its developments regularly.

Discussions were also held on the issues dealing with the procedures used for improving and developing "KAHRAMAA's" commercial and administrational business,  plus the subsequences of assessing its plans and projects as well ensuring the projects. Furthermore, the meeting comes within enhancing KARAMAA business to achieve its strategic objectives plus standing for the improvement of the main projects related to developing and improving the electricity and water infrastructure in the State of Qatar. And to improve the quality of the services performed to the consumers to gain their satisfaction with the electricity and water services provided by "Kahramaa", besides guarantying the growing demand of residents, buildings and industry.

The meeting held for four hours of discussion's on strategic issues such as improving and developing the business environment, operational performance, and strategic projects, beside evaluation of performance criteria among "KAHRAMAA's" departments.
