In the occasion of H.E. the President of Djibouti Mr. Ismail Omar Jaleah to State of Qatar On the 15th of February 2005, H.E Mr. Issa Al-Ghanim, Kahramaa "KM" Vice Chairman in presence of Eng. Ahmed Al-Abdullah, Acting Director of Technical Affairs and Eng. Nasser Ali Al-Mohannadi, Manager, Public Relations Department received Djibouti Delegation from Djibouti Electricity Authority "DEA" consists of   HE. Mr. Jamee Ali Jaleah, General Manager of DEA and H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Mohamed Bu-Reha, Djibouti Port and Free Zone Authority, Chairman.

The meeting highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation between KM and DEA in the field of power production, strengthening the relations, and exchanging experiences, and expertise's.

H.E. Mr. Issa welcomed the Djibouti delegation and made a brief presentation about Kahramaa governance and management workflow, and he provideed valuable information about Kahramaa's core business in transmission and distribution of electricity and water.

H.E. Mr. Jamee Ali Jalea, said: "the visit's aim is to discuss means of cooperation between the two Corporations, and  to search for the best practices to transform power generation plants in Djibouti from diesel to natural gas.

H.E. Mr. Issa Al- Ghanim resume the meeting by thanking the Djibouti Delegation for their interest in visiting Kahramaa and advise the delegation to benefit from the experiences and practices available in the State of Qatar in the field of transmission and distribution of  electricity and water.
